I was at Urban Outfitters the other day and saw this bracelet on display prominently:

yesterday

yesterday was the first day of summer, though you wouldn’t have known here in Santa Monica.  I was eagerly anticipating a leisurely stroll on the beach after work but I was greeted by stubborn overcast.  so I did what any self respecting blogger would do…I took pictures of myself.  not!  but I did take some instas of recent acquisitions/obsessions to share with y’all.

1. Marais USA espadrilles and Jeffrey Campbell perforated/wicker wedges.  is it clear I like red?

2. a new cuff bracelet and prayer wheel ring I picked up from a trunk show hosted by a friend’s wonderful mother.  I had the pleasure of staying with her on a recent trip to Kathmandu and was super excited to see her again and check out her amazing jewelry and handicrafts.

3. this is the original prayer wheel ring I’d picked up in Nepal.  I’d been wearing it daily with my two Ippolita rings .
